Every regulation, season, size limit, bag limit, fee and set of park hours on this site is taken from the agency that actually sets it, and the page links that source. Fishing rules come from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Access, parking and hours come from the city, county, state park or National Park Service page for that specific location.
The rule the site is built on is simple: if we could not fetch it from the authority, we do not print it. That is why some pages say a fee or an opening time is unconfirmed rather than filling the gap with a number from a directory listing. It is also why a handful of pages exist mainly to tell you a place is closed. Several Southwest Florida piers have not reopened since Hurricane Ian, and a guide that quietly leaves them listed as fishable is worse than no guide.
It is not a booking service and it does not sell trips. Where a page links a charter operator or a gear retailer, that link is marked and the page says plainly that a referral fee may be earned on a completed booking. Those links never change what a page says about a rule, a fee or whether somewhere is open.
It is also not a fishing report. Conditions change daily and we do not pretend to track them. What this site tries to be is the page that tells you what the rule is, what it costs, when the gate opens, and whether the pier is still standing.
Regulations change and parks reopen. If something here is out of date or wrong, it is worth more to us than it is to you, so please say so. Each page lists the sources it was built from so you can check the original yourself, and pages carry the date their figures were retrieved.
